Meet the Antics. A dynamic 6 piece dance & show band based in Portland Oregon. Originally formed in the mid 80’s, the Antics performed nightly at some of the hottest dance clubs in the Portland area as well as the West Coast from Anchorage Alaska to San Diego California.

You may remember dancing the night away with the Antics at clubs like Harrington’s, The Rusty Pelican, JT Berringers, The Rafters, O’Callahan’s, The Rodeo, TK Wheatfield’s or The Shanghai Lounge.  With a reputation for being a just little crazy and a whole lot of fun, the Antics were one of the most popular acts in the area.

Well the Antics are back! Re-formed in 1998, the band has been performing classic dance hits and the best in new music for corporate events, private receptions as well as the occasional nightclub date.  Joining original members Dave Lehnert (guitar/vocals), Kit Carlsen (bass/vocals) and Jack Brooks (drums/vocals) are; Yvonne Troutman (keyboards/vocals), Steve Snyder (sax, harmonica, percussion/vocals) and Alison Kapaun featured on vocals.

The Antics are the perfect choice for live dance entertainment when you’re looking for up beat, familiar pop dance music from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today. They bring their years of entertainment experience and a professional, cooperative attitude to help make your event something special and one to remember.
